LOS ANGELES: Country singer Blake Shelton is all set to voice a pig in the upcoming Angry Birds movie.

The 39-year-old "Voice" coach will playback country pig named Earl, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"They kept saying, 'More country! I felt like I was doing a voice-over for 'Dukes of Hazzard'," Shelton said.

The "Neon Light" singer has also written a song for the film.

"I can write things about myself and my life, but I don't have a whole lot of experience being shot out of a slingshot at pigs," he said.

The animated film is based on the popular game of the same name and also features the voice talents of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Danny McBride.
