Mrunal Thakur is back in the headlines — and this time, it’s not because of her rumoured link-up with Dhanush. An old interview of the actress has resurfaced online, where she remarked on Bipasha Basu’s physique, even calling the Jism star “manly.” Now, Bipasha seems to have responded in her own style, posting a cryptic yet pointed message on her Instagram story that many believe is a subtle clapback.

Bipasha Basu took to Instagram to share what many see as a pointed response. Posting a quote that read, “Strong women lift each other up. Get those muscles, beautiful ladies... we should be strong... muscles help you attain good physical and mental health forever! Bust the age-old thought process that women should not look strong or be physically strong!!!” The actress left fans speculating whether the message was aimed at Mrunal.

About Mrunal Thakur's viral clip

The viral clip dates back to her Kumkum Bhagya days, where she was seen discussing fitness with co-star Arjit Taneja. In the interview, she quipped that if he wanted a "manly girl with muscles", then he should "go marry Bipasha." Further in the video, she added, “I’m much better than Bipasha.” While the remark was made years ago, it’s now making waves across social media.


Mrunal Thakur's latest movie
