Biocon's Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is a proud wife

Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is no stranger to awards and honours. However, this time around, it’s not Shaw, but her husband John, who is at the receiving end of congratulatory messages.

A cancer survivor, John serves as the vice-chairman of Biocon. He was felicitated with an honourary degree by his Alma Mater, the University of Glasgow last week.

The proud wife and billionaire industrialist took to social media to share the news. Along with a post with a picture of her husband receiving the honour, she wrote, “A proud day for me as my husband John Shaw is honoured with Hon Doctorate from his Alma mater University of Glasgow.”
