Billboard Music Awards set new date for 2020 ceremony, will now be held on October 14

This year's best picture award was bagged by Peter Farrelly's directorial 'Green Book'.

Set in 1962, it's based on a true story of a tour of the Deep South by African-American classical and jazz pianist Don Shirley played by Mahershala Ali. His Italian-American bouncer and driver was played by Viggo Mortensen.

Earlier, the movie won the People's Choice Awards at the Toronto International Film Festival in September last year.

An animated extension of the Spider-man franchise, 'Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse' won a top honour at the Oscars. The movie was declared the best animated film feature this year.

Produced by The Lego Movie’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the movie featured a new teenage spider-man.

Ryan Coogler's 'Black Panther' was nominated in seven categories this year and bagged three Oscars, one of them for best original score. It is the first superhero movie to win this award.

'Period. End of Sentence.' bagged the best documentary short subject award at Oscars this year. Set in the Hapur district outside of Delhi, this documentary focuses on the deeply-rooted stigma against menstruation. It was co-produced by Guneet Monga and directed by Rayka Zehtabchi.

The Best Production Design award this year was bagged by Marvel Studios' 'Black Panther'. This was the second award for this movie at Oscars.

The best makeup and hairstylling Oscar this year was bagged by 'Vice'.

'Bohemian Rhapsody' bagged awards in the sound category. The movie took home top honour for best sound editing this year.

The movie also won the best sound mixing award at this year's Oscars.

Visual effects are an element that takes a movie to a whole new level. This year, 'First Man' bagged the Oscar for best visual effects.
