Bikinis and lehengas: A sneak peek into India Beach Fashion Week

Balmy Goa weather, sunset views at pristine beaches and the buzz of fashion shows while sipping on some refreshments -- reasons enough for patrons to look forward to the second edition of the Gionee India Beach Fashion Week.

The event will be held at Lalit Golf and Spa Resort, Goa, from October 29-31. The week will showcase a mix of resort wear and, considering the number of resort weddings that one is witnessing these days, resort bridal trends. A new addition to the week is a 'Made in Goa' category where all the garments will be constructed in Goa.

Among other names, the highlights of this season will be collections from Wendell Rodricks, Rocky Star, Anupama Dayal, Asmita Marwah, James Ferreira and Manoviraj Khosla. Young talent like Shilpa Reddy, Ken Ferns, Riddhi - Siddhi, Mayur Girotra, Deme by Gabriella, Kamaali Couture by Kamaali & Shruti Mehta and Dimple Raghani will also set the course for some trendsetting designs.
