Biker OTT release date confirmed: When and where to watch the Telugu sports action-drama starring Sharwanand

The Telugu sports action-drama Biker, starring Sharwanand, first hit theatres on April 3, 2026. The film is directed and written by Abhilash Reddy Kankara and is produced under UV Creations by V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati. It has been presented as a sports-heavy emotional drama built around motocross racing, which is shown as a risky and competitive world throughout the story.

The film also includes Rajasekhar, Malavika Nair, Atul Kulkarni, Brahmaji, and Shashank in important supporting roles. Rajasekhar’s character is especially important as he plays Sharwanand’s father and also a former racer who once had his own career in the sport.

OTT release date and platform

After completing its theatrical run, the film is now moving to digital release. Netflix has officially acquired the streaming rights of Biker. The platform confirmed that the film will be available for streaming from May 1, 2026.

Story at the centre of the film

At its core, Biker follows a racer who is trying to make a name for himself in motocross while also dealing with family expectations and emotional pressure. Sharwanand’s character is shown as someone trained under his father, who was once a successful racer himself and now wants his son to achieve global success.

The film also shows a phase where the protagonist steps away from racing, later returning after personal and family-related developments. Alongside his racing journey, the film also touches on his personal life, including his relationship with his wife and child, and how his decisions affect them.

The story focuses on why he left racing in the first place and what pushes him to return, keeping the emotional conflict tied closely to the sport itself.

On the technical side, Biker features music by Ghibran Vaibodha, with cinematography handled by J. Yuvraj and editing by Anil Pasala. The production design is by Rajeevan N, while action sequences have been choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan.

The writing team includes M.V.S. Bharadwaj and Shrawan Madala. Sound design and mixing work have been handled by Sync Cinema and Kannan Ganpat respectively, with VFX, costumes, and post-production supported by a wider technical crew. The audio rights of the film are with Aditya Music.
