Bihar, UP and Rajasthan done; now Gujarat & Delhi make 'Super 30' tax-free

NEW DELHI: 'Super 30' is on a roll. The Hrithik Roshan-starrer was declared tax-free in Gujarat and Delhi by the state government.

'"Super 30' is based on the real life of Anand Kumar, who runs the Super 30 programme for IIT-JEE aspirants that belong to from poor families. The 45-year-old actor essays Kumar's character in the film.

Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, took to Twitter to laud Kumar, and announced 'Super 30' tax-free in the national capital.



The 'Kaabil' actor thanked Sisodia and shared his post. On Tuesday, Roshan also shared a post by Kumar on Twitter, thanking Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani for appreciating the team's efforts.


The 46-year-old, Patna-based educationist feels the move will help take the film's message of the value of merit and equal opportunities to all more teachers and students.

Withing a week after its release, the movie was made tax-free by the Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar governments.


The movie has managed to collected over Rs 75 crore at the box-office in a week since its release on July 12, and is going strong.
