The popular reality show, which has been one of Telugu television’s most-watched properties since its debut in 2017, premiered on September 6. The new season is being aired on Star Maa and streamed on JioHotstar. Nagarjuna officially launched Bigg Boss Telugu 10 during the grand premiere, marking his eighth consecutive season as the host. He also gave viewers a first look at the newly designed house, which follows the “Dasavatharam” theme inspired by the ten avatars.

Bigg Boss Telugu 10: Nagarjuna returns for eighth season

Nagarjuna has become closely associated with Bigg Boss Telugu over the years. He first took over as host in the third season in 2019 and has continued to lead the show ever since. With Season 10, he has now completed eight consecutive seasons as the face of the Telugu edition.

The latest season comes with a new concept and house design. The “Dasavatharam” theme draws inspiration from the ten avatars, giving the show a distinct visual identity. During the premiere, Nagarjuna introduced viewers to the new house and its different spaces before welcoming the contestants.

Bigg Boss Telugu 10 confirmed contestants list

The premiere introduced the first batch of contestants who will compete for the title. Bengali-born actress Debjani Modak, popularly known as Kinni, became the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 house.

Debjani has worked across Bengali, Tamil and Telugu television. She is known to Telugu audiences for shows such as Ennenno Janmala Bandham. Her entry gives the new season a contestant with experience across multiple regional television industries.

Actor Thrigun, also known as Adith Arun, entered the house as the second contestant. He has worked in Telugu cinema as well as Tamil and Kannada projects. His film credits include Eesha, Devil and Katha.

Folk singer Jhansi became the third contestant and the first commoner to enter the house this season. She earned her place after winning tasks during Bigg Boss Agnipariksha 2, which helped her secure a spot in the main reality show.

Sudheer Kumar Reddy was introduced as the fourth contestant. Before entering the house, he opened up about his personal journey on stage with Nagarjuna. His story and personality were among the highlights of his introduction during the premiere.

Aman became the fifth contestant and the second commoner to enter the house. He secured his place through a golden buzzer, making his entry one of the notable moments of the launch episode.

Who else could enter Bigg Boss Telugu 10?

While the first five contestants have been introduced, the complete lineup is expected to be revealed gradually. Reports around the season have also mentioned names such as anchor Varshini Sounderajan, Jabardasth comedians Naresh and Auto Ram Prasad, actor Mukesh Gowda, Shalini, Temper Vamsi, actor Krishnudu and Athidi Eshwaran.

However, these names should be treated as expected or reported contestants until they officially enter the house.

Unlike a season with a large group entering on the first day, Bigg Boss Telugu 10 is expected to begin with around 10 contestants. More participants could join the competition later through mid-week entries and wild card rounds, giving the house dynamics a fresh twist as the season progresses, according to TOI.
