According to the official communication, reported by PTI, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board stated that the premises were being used for large-scale entertainment and studio operations without obtaining the mandatory Consent for Establishment and Consent for Operation as required under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The notice further explained that, in light of these observed violations, the company has been directed to immediately halt all operations at the studio and submit a detailed explanation to the Board within the specified timeframe. Additionally, the communication warned that any failure to comply with this order would lead to penal action under the relevant environmental laws, emphasising the seriousness of the violations.
