Bigg Boss 20: Rhiti Tiwari's 'Baap hote toh dekh lete' comment makes Salman Khan ask 'Kaise dekh leta?' on Weekend Ka Vaar

The clash between Rhiti Tiwari and Qazi Touqeer became the highlight of the latest Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, with Salman Khan questioning Rhiti over her aggressive behaviour and language during the fight. The host also addressed her repeated references to her father, actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, and told her that she should take responsibility for her own conduct inside the house.

Salman questions Rhiti’s remark

During the episode, Salman discussed the confrontation between Rhiti, Qazi and Uditi Singh. Rhiti had used abusive language during the exchange, with some of her remarks being muted in the broadcast. She later defended the choice of words as “slang” and said they rhymed better.

Her comments about what her father might have done if he had witnessed the argument also came under scrutiny.


Rhiti had told Qazi, “Agar mere baap aapko yeh sab karte hue dekh lete toh aapko malum nahi hai aapka kya halat hota (If my father had seen you doing all this, you have no idea what would have happened to you).”

While speaking to Mahhi Vij later, Rhiti also said, “My father would be proud of me for that remark.”

Salman questioned the idea behind invoking her father during the confrontation. He pointed out that Manoj Tiwari is no longer simply known as an actor and singer, but is also a politician and public figure.

Salman Khan compares Rhiti’s behaviour to Dolly Bindra

Salman also drew a comparison between Rhiti's conduct and that of former Bigg Boss contestant Dolly Bindra.

He told Rhiti, “Qazi has gracefully handled all the insults, he has done it all for 20 years. But you Rhiti you think you are a rockstar but no one thinks so… You are Manoj Tiwari's daughter… people will say it is nepotism. Now, this is the result of your father's hardwork. From now on, it depends on you. What you do, the blame or credit should not go to your father… but aap Dolly ban gayi uss fight mein.”

Salman also questioned what Rhiti meant by saying her father would have “seen” Qazi. He said, “Mera baap hota toh dekh leta, but kaise dekh leta? Aapke father actor nahi politican he. But I don't think any father would like that.”

In another version of his remarks, Salman reminded Rhiti that Manoj is a public figure and referred to his political career while explaining why she should be careful about such statements.

Manoj Tiwari’s Bigg Boss history

The reference to Manoj Tiwari was relevant because he had himself participated in Bigg Boss 4. His stint included clashes with contestants such as Shweta Tiwari and Ashmit Patel.

Manoj was eventually evicted after being nominated alongside Ashmit. Shweta went on to win the season, while The Great Khali finished as the runner-up.

Rhiti’s fight with Qazi

The confrontation began during a diss battle linked to a captaincy challenge. Rhiti directed abusive remarks towards Qazi and Uditi, leading to a heated exchange. Qazi also addressed Manoj Tiwari while looking into the camera and said, “Apni daughter ko dekho, not done.”

Salman also criticised Aasif Khan for encouraging Rhiti during the exchange rather than stopping her when she made a remark against Uditi, according to Filmibeat’s report.
