Pranit More, the popular Marathi stand-up comedian and content creator, has been eliminated just before the winner announcement. Pranit became one of the strongest pillars inside the house and managed to stay till the last stage despite being the lowest-paid contestant this season. Born into a modest Maharashtrian family in Mumbai, Pranit completed his education locally. He pursued a Bachelor of Management Studies at KJ Somaiya College and later completed his MBA in Marketing from the Welingkar Institute of Management. His dream, however, was something completely different, he once wanted to become a pilot. But life had other plans.


Before stepping into entertainment, according to News18 and Zee5 reports, he worked as a sales assistant at an automobile showroom. It was during college events and open mic nights that he found his love for stand-up comedy. Winning the Open Mic Maverick title at Canvas Laugh Club gave him the confidence to build a full-time career in this field.

His professional journey truly began when he joined Mirchi FM as a radio jockey between 2019 and 2023. During this time, he hosted popular shows and even anchored live events, including the Filmfare OTT Awards.

As per TOI, Pranit More is believed to have a net worth ranging between Rs 4 crore to Rs 8 crore. His earnings come from his stand-up shows, YouTube content, various brand collaborations, and, recently, his appearance on Bigg Boss 19.

Pranit’s digital breakthrough came with his YouTube channel morepranit, where he creates comic sketches based on daily life and Indian culture. Today, the channel has crossed over 10.6 million subscribers, making it one of the fastest-growing Marathi-language content creators on the platform. He has also released two well-received stand-up specials - Baap Ko Mat Sikha in 2023 and Back Bencher in 2024.

Interestingly, when Pranit’s participation in Bigg Boss 19 was announced, old clips of him teasing Salman Khan went viral on social media. Viewers were curious to see how he would face the superstar inside the house. During an early episode, Pranit laughed off the past videos.

Throughout the show, Pranit maintained a grounded approach. He handled heated moments with calm responses and entertained audiences even during tense situations. His journey highlighted how passion, talent and perseverance can push someone forward regardless of their financial background.
