Big prankster

Neither is new to acting, yet it’s a debut for both — Amitabh Bachchan and Sarika. The two were recently shooting their first television fiction show Yudh and a serious scene required them to get the intensity just right. Their commitment though was tested, with the scorching heat and noise from a construction site filtering in constantly.

Sarika, playing the ex-wife of Bachchan’s business magnate character, needed to shut the door on his face in the scene. Already on edge, her face went red when she heard Big B shout in pain as the door shut on his fingers. Or so she thought… apparently it was a prank pulled by Bachchan to lighten the mood on the sets — banda yeh bindaas hai.
