Big B's grand-daughter Navya Naveli Nanda takes the stage for 'EntrepreNaari' at BSE, receives praise from proud mother Shweta Bachchan

Navya Naveli Nanda, grand-daughter of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, recently showed up at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) where she took the stage to speak on her non-profit initiative for women's social and economic independence.

Navya took to her official Instagram account to share her experience with over 474K followers. "EntrepreNaari takes Bombay Stock Exchange!" Navya wrote on Instagram as she thanked BSE for inviting her to speak at the event.

"Thank you for inviting us to come speak about our initiative & our efforts towards supporting women entrepreneurs!" At the event, Navya spoke on 'EntrepreNaari', the term she coined last year to kickstart a movement pushing for women entrepreneurship.


Proud mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda was all praise for her daughter's big speech at BSE. Nanda took to Navya's post to applaud her daughter. “Incredible my darling,” she commented.

The 24-year-old, who is the daughter of Indian businessman Nikhil Nanda-- the chairman and managing director of Escorts Limited, has her eyes set on making it big in the world of business. The young entrepreneur, who earlier this year co-founded Aara Health and started the NGO Project Naveli, has been an advocate for women empowerment and having more women entrepreneurs.

In 2020, Navya completed her studies at New York's Fordham University. In 2018, she even modelled for her mother's fashion label.
