However, founder Bhavish Aggarwal doesn't seem to be fazed by the negativity and recently took the Ola Electric Scooter S1 out for a spin in Bengaluru. He was accompanied by Varun Dubey, the chief marketing officer of Ola Electric, on the coffee run.
The duo posed with the S1 outside the Araku coffee cafe in Indiranagar, Bangalore, and invited people to come take a look. Aggarwal even dropped a Google Maps pin of the location in his tweet.

The 66-year-old business honcho called Aggarwal's decision to choose the Araku coffee cafe as the destination for his scooter ride a "smart move."

"Great brand, product and service," he tweeted.
