'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero' review: Vikramaditya Motwane reminds you that heroes are only human
The desi superhero sans the frills deserves a watch.

The superhero isn’t a gunwielding masked crusader, but he definitely has a mission and a steely resolve to accomplish it. Just like another superhero, Bhavesh Joshi too has a backstory — a compelling one at that.
The narrative is approachable and works in favour of the film. The frustration of the common man to work around a corrupt system has been woven into the narrative beautifully by co-writers Anurag Kashyap and Abhay Koranne.
Motwane drives home the point and maintains the momentum throughout the film. The highlights of the film are the chase and action sequences. Some viewers may find the narrative a little unrealistic as it drags towards the climax.
In his second stint after 'Mirziyaan', Kapoor shows improvement as an actor. The supporting cast deserves a special mention as it holds the film together. The desi superhero sans the frills deserves a watch.
