Bharat Forge's Amit Kalyani to create a buzz with 40th birthday

Bharat Forge Executive Director Amit Kalyani will turn 40 this month and the buzz in Pune's society is that he is will bring in his landmark birthday with a bang. His wife Deeksha has already sent out email invitations intimating friends and family to block their dates for an intimate get together at their Pune residence on July 25. The theme for the bash? 'A Dash of Red' says the invitation.

Kalyani had earlier shared with ETPanache that he had learnt to play 'Happy Birthday' on the saxophone to surprise his wife on her 40th birthday in March 2014. "I wanted to do something special, so two of my children and I learnt an instrument. I learnt to play 'Happy Birthday' on a saxophone in four days. She was very impressed. My older daughter played the piano, my son the guitar and my youngest sang 'Happy Birthday' on stage. We had a party at home," he said. Can't help but wonder if Deeksha Kalyani will return the compliment.
