What better way to ring in the new year, than to be surrounded by family and friends? Add a milestone to the mix, and the celebration becomes extra special. That’s the case at Pune-based industrialist Amit Kalyani’s household this year.

Speaking to ETPanache at an event earlier in the year, the Bharat Forge ED had shared that he’d been “travelling too much this year” on account of work. Though December showed no signs of slowing down, the plus was that he’d at least be in town. As for his new year plans, it’s all about family. “My brother-in-law (wife Deeksha’s brother) turns 50, so I’ll be with him,” Kalyani said when asked about his plan to bring in 2019.

The couple did not divulge further details about the celebrations being planned. But in the past, for both Kalyani and his wife’s big 4-0, intimate parties were hosted at their residence in Pune.
