Bhai the braveheart: Salman Khan appears out of his Bandra residence, a day after gunfire incident

Superstar Salman Khan seems unaffected by the recent attempt on his life. A day after a firing incident took place outside the ‘Dabangg’ star’s house, the actor was seen outside his mansion in Bandra, Mumbai. While the paparazzi tried to catch a glimpse of the ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ actor, he was shielded by the guards. The star looked dapper in a blue suit.

A video clip of the star was shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani on Instagram and gained more than 40K likes moments after being posted. Despite the attempt on his life, the actor remained unfazed and promoted his fitness brand on social media. “So happy to share that my fitness equipment brand Being Strong will now be available at Diamondz by @danubeproperties in Dubai! So get ready for the ultimate fitness journey with Being Strong Equipment now at Diamondz by Danube. @rizwan.sajan (sic),” read his Instagram post.

While Khan didn’t respond to the firing incident, his brother Arbaaz admitted that the incident had unnerved the family.


“The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. Unfortunately, some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media saying it's all a publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected which is not true and these views should not be taken seriously. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support,” he wrote on Instagram.

On Sunday, two unnamed individuals travelling on bikes, opened fire outside Khan’s residence, the luxurious Galaxy apartments in Bandra. They fired four rounds around 5:00 am and then escaped.

While the bikers are yet to be identified, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s Anmol took responsibility for the incident. Through a Facebook post, Bishnoi described the incident as a “trailer”.

“We have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning,” he wrote.
