'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' star Deepesh Bhan passes away at 41

Actor Deepesh Bhan, better known for his role as Malkhan in 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain'. has passed away. He was 41.

According to ETimes, the actor was playing cricket when he collapsed this morning. He was then rushed to a doctor, but breathed his last before reaching the hospital. However, the exact reason behind his sudden death is still unknown.

The TV channel which broadcasts 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' took to their official Twitter handle to confirm the unfortunate news.


"Your sudden departure from the stage of life will always hurt us. You will always live in our hearts with your memories and the extraordinary characters that you played," the TV channel tweeted in Hindi.



Bhan's sudden death has not only shocked his fans, friends and well-wishers, but has also left a void behind. The late actor's co-star Charrul Malik paid a tribute to Bhan as she recalled their strong bond and time spent together.

"I can't believe it still. I got to know about it in the morning. I just met him yesterday and he was all fine. We made a few reel videos together. I know him since eight years and he was closest to me on the sets. We used to eat our food together."

Malik said that Bhan used to guide her through her scenes and was an amazing human. "Apart from being a talented actor, he was an amazing human being too. He used to guide me through my scenes. We have lost an amazing human and an actor," Malik told Times of India.

Actress Kavita Kaushik also paid a tribute to the late actor.

"In shock, gutted ,pained with the news of Deepesh Bhan passing away at the age of 41 yesterday, a very important cast member in f.i.r , Was a fit guy who never drank/smoked or did anything to harm his health, left behind a wife n one year old child and parents and us all," the Kaushik tweeted.

The producers of 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' Sanjay & Binaiferr Kohli expressed their shock and sadness over the demise of their "beloved" Bhan.

"We are deeply saddened & shocked by the sudden demise of our beloved Deepesh Bhan. One of the most dedicated actors in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai and like our family. He will be deeply missed by all. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, May his soul Rest In Eternal Peace," the producers told TOI.
