Anastasia points out that India isn’t just one language or culture—there are 22 official languages, 121 major ones, and countless minor ones, all actively spoken. While some outsiders assume India is dirty or chaotic, she says the country is developing rapidly and offers both modern conveniences and traditional charm. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to bargain for everything—grocery deliveries can literally show up at your doorstep in minutes.

When it comes to festivals, India isn’t just about Diwali. Every region has its own unique celebrations, from Onam to Durga Puja to Ganesh Chaturthi.
