Ramnath Shenoy, a techie from Bengaluru, had a rollercoaster experience just 36 hours before his wedding, and Swiggy Instamart became his unexpected hero. He shared a detailed post on X. On the morning of his Haldi ceremony, chaos struck when he realized he had forgotten his yellow kurta—a crucial part of the occasion.

Facing mounting family pressure, Ramnath turned to Swiggy Instamart, which came to his rescue with a Manyavar kurta delivered in just eight minutes. Crisis averted, he was back in the festivities within moments, fully dressed for the ritual.



However, the drama didn’t end there. The Haldi ceremony brought another hiccup when he found himself drenched with no backup undergarments. Once again, Instamart saved the day, delivering fresh essentials in record time. Ramnath joked that Instamart deserved a spot on his wedding invite list for their impeccable timing and service.

His lighthearted post about the incident garnered attention online, with netizens poking fun at his forgetfulness. While some teased him about forgetting a key wedding outfit, others praised the convenience of modern delivery apps. Swiggy Instamart’s quick response turned potential wedding stress into a fun memory, making Ramnath’s big day even more memorable.

In his X bio, Ramnath Shenoy says he is a senior director of product at a contract automation and management software company in Bengaluru. Prior to that he had served in an engineering role at Akamai. He had also co-founded a company called Glynker.
