Bengaluru leaves George Calombaris stumped!

Love or hate them, food bloggers are here to stay. But celebrity chef George Calombaris, of Masterchef Australia fame, perhaps had more than he could take of them during his visit to India last week. At a tasting event organised at a Bengaluru luxury hotel, buzz is that Calombaris was 'gheraoed' by around 30 bloggers. So "taken aback" was Calombaris by the relentless requests for selfies and autographs, that he didn't step out of his room for the rest of the day.

But those who couldn't have enough of the celebrity chef were top honchos of companies like Etihad Airways, Accenture, Brittania, Swiss Re and 3M. They were treated to an exclusive August 15 lunch, with six delicious courses, prepared by Calombaris and his chefs from Press Club, his flagship Melbourne restaurant.
