A Bengaluru employee revealed his boss told him to take an extra day-off when he returned from vacation
A Bengaluru-based employee who returned after a 10-day vacation the the city to rejoin the work, shared the heartwarming message he received from his manager. Taking to the subreddit Indian Workplace, he shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with the manager.

When he revealed he is back in town and ready to rejoin, his boss asked him to take another day off to recharge and get settled

Sharing the screenshot, the Reddit user wrote: “ I was on a 10-day vacation and informed the founder that I would be returning to work the next day. Instead of confirming my return, he told me to take an additional day off to relax and ease back in before starting again :). As someone who moved from a stern corporate background, this made me feel great and valued!”


The post went viral on the subreddit. One Reddit user asked him to give back by working hard. “Work hard. Return the value. Keep the chain moving in loop.”

Another commenter was a tad bit skeptical. “I have faced so much toxicity that the message from your boss seems Sarcasm to me
I need help.” they wrote.

Another quipped that they would like to join the organisation and asked if the boss was hiring. “Is your boss hiring? Lmao I would love to work with people like this…” the remark read.
