Ben Hardy joins 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

LOS ANGELES: British actor Ben Hardy will play the character of Angel in director Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse".

Singer confirmed to Empire that Hardy would star in the latest installment of the Fox franchise due in May 2016, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"Ben Hardy is Angel - I shall confirm it for you. But he's not a very nice Angel! And that's all I'll say..." Singer said.

Hardy joins a cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Tye Sheridan and Lana Condor.
