Bella Hadid shuts down Paris Fashion Week with 'futuristic' dress. Video shows how sleek gown was spray-painted on supermodel

Is it even Paris Fashion Week if there are no dramatic moments and gasps? A moment of appreciation for Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, the men behind the futuristic dress which was fashioned out of spray paint in front of the live audience during Parisian label Coperni's spring 2023 collection.

The duo broke all the existing records and just when we thought we had seen everything, here's the dress that was spray painted on supermodel Bella Hadid as she stood still in front of a mesmerised audience.

The 25-year-old Hadid first hit the runway topless with a pair of nude thongs and slip-on high-heels. The model covered her breasts with one of her hands, while her hair was tied in a sleek updo. After Hadid reached her spot, she stood there like a mannequin while the dress was spray-painted onto her body for the grand finale of the Coperni Womenswear Spring/Summer 2023.


A a team of specialists, led by Dr Manel Torres, managing director of Fabrican Ltd and inventor of the spray-on fabric, created the minimalist but futuristic dress. After some careful adjusting, the model then walked down the runway in the stunning outfit which was created right in front of everyone's eyes.

Meyer and Vaillant, who tied the knot on a secluded Greek island last year, are known for pushing the boundaries of fashion technology.
Coperni is known for their daring styles -- the brand went viral in April for their purse made of hand-blown glass, carried by Kylie Jenner and Doja Cat.

Several people who were present at the show and witnessed this iconic moment in fashion, captured it on videos which was then uploaded on social media platforms. The video has now gone viral with fans praising not only the brilliant creators behind this unique design but also supermodel Hadid for perfectly playing her part in this historic show.
