The 25-year-old Hadid first hit the runway topless with a pair of nude thongs and slip-on high-heels. The model covered her breasts with one of her hands, while her hair was tied in a sleek updo. After Hadid reached her spot, she stood there like a mannequin while the dress was spray-painted onto her body for the grand finale of the Coperni Womenswear Spring/Summer 2023.
A a team of specialists, led by Dr Manel Torres, managing director of Fabrican Ltd and inventor of the spray-on fabric, created the minimalist but futuristic dress.
