Before lavish dinner, Ivanka Trump gets a history lesson on Hyderabad
Even though Ivanka Trump's Hyderabad itinerary did not include a visit to the famed Charminar, she did get a history lesson on the Nizam's city.

Before the elaborate dinner hosted in her honour at the Taj Falaknuma Palace, she was taken up to the hotel's Jade Terrace which offers a panoramic view of the city. Here, she was shown different sights and historian and architect Anuradha Naik told her a little about the history of Hyderabad.

The dinner, held at the Palace's iconic 101 dining room presented a five-course menu, handed out by personal butlers, with dishes such as Dahi ke kebab, Gosht shikampuri kebab, Kubani ke malai kofta, Murg pista ka salan and Sitaphal kulfi. The signature menu also featured ingredients such as sandalwood, saffron and figs.

Rare artefacts and silver decorative pieces were brought in from the Nizam's private collection at Chowmahalla Palace; while all upholstery used during the dinner was made with locally sourced fabrics such as ikkat, teliya and velvet.
