According to reports, Ranveer Singh did not choose a shortcut to achieve his enviable frame for Dhurandhar. His workout routine steered clear of the standard gym exercises and instead involved heavy weight training, challenging lifts and compound moves like squats, bench presses and deadlifts.

To define his torso, Ranveer Singh focused on targeted exercises such as V-bar push-downs, lying dumbbell extensions, underhand straight-bar extensions, and diamond push-ups done to failure to build his triceps. Meanwhile, when it came to biceps, the actor performed standing EZ-bar curls, hammer curls, and chest-supported spider curls.

Varinder revealed that he met the actor during the promotions of Dhurandhar and the actor kept on repeating one thing, ‘Maine bahut mehnat ki ha ispe’, which translates to the fact that Ranveer has put his blood and sweat into Dhurandhar.
In other news, Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar also stars Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R. Madhavan alongside Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Yami Gautam in important roles. The movie will be released in 5 languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
