The ‘Petta’ star had some fond memories of their childhood. She reminisced about how they often had picnics at Aksa Beach as kids. She said they often brought sandwiches and chips and enjoyed a day of playing by the water's edge. Looking back, she said they still get together during Diwali, describing it as a treasured family custom. “We keep meeting every Diwali. We celebrate together every Diwali. That’s like a family tradition we have,” she added.
For those who don't know, Malavika was in Jaipur for Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's wedding. She used Instagram to share tidbits of her experience in Rajasthan while tactfully avoiding discussing the wedding itself.
Malavika previously celebrated Onam alongside Vicky and their families, posting touching pictures to social media. Sharing a radiant photo of herself with her friend, she captioned it, “Childhood friends, family, yummy food & lots of laughter. Best way to spend Onam! PS – The ‘M’ in the flower arrangement is for ‘Mohanans’ #OnamSadhyaPhotoDump.”
On the work front, 'Yudhra' is Malavika's second foray into Bollywood following her 2017 debut in Hindi film 'Beyond the Clouds'. In the meantime, Vicky Kaushal is getting ready for his part in Laxman Utekar's 'Chhava' as Sambhaji, the Maratha monarch and son of Chhatrapati Shivaji. He will also star with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period romance 'Love and War'.
