This app is like a virtual exhibition with over 30 historic artefacts curated by the BBC.


The artefacts, selected from 30 different museums, have been 3D scanned in high resolution so that you can see every detail.

You start with a globe and choose which artefact you want to see. You can move and scale each artefact as you explore.

There are extensive notes, web links and voice overs for each.

Some even offer an xray to look inside or a restore feature so that you can see what it looked like originally.

It's a great way to learn more about these priceless pieces of history.

Keep in mind that the app does need to download some heavy files and all features may not work on all phones.
