Bathrooms are the new hotspots in every home, says architect Alfaz Miller

Architect Alfaz Miller knows a bit about gorgeous homes, having designed some himself. But he had a tough time getting people to open their opulent doors to be featured in a collection that he was working on recently.

“The truly beautiful and most lavish homes are impossible to feature. People are reluctant either because they are very private people or because they’re afraid of taxmen,” he said with a laugh. Of the homes that he did finally feature, Miller said he was most impressed with the attention paid towards making the bath areas stand out.

“From the view and the fixtures to the lighting and materials, bathrooms have clearly emerged as the new hot spots in the home,” he said.
