Barcelona and Morocco on footballer Sunil Chhetri's mind

India’s leading goal scorer and most-capped footballer Sunil Chhetri loves to travel and take vacations. However, given his packed match schedule, a vacation is nowhere in sight. While he posts pictures from stunning locales from across the world on social media, he’s there for tournaments.

“I would love to go for a vacation, but there is no vacation. Until June 13, which is our next match, we don’t have a single day off. My pictures on social media are from my travels with the team for tournaments. It’s not the same as when you go for a vacation. When you go to a country, you just go to a hotel, check in, gym, train, sleep, play, have food and come back,” he says.

But there’s no harm in planning one and on top of Chhetri’s vacation list is Barcelona. “If I get a chance, Barcelona is a place I would really like to go to. I also want to visit Morocco. They have a lot of culture, heritage and are cosmopolitan too. I have seen several pictures of Morocco and it has a lot of rock climbing and stuff, so you can do a lot of outdoor activities there.”
