Bambu Lab formally enters India, launches A2L large-format desktop 3D printer at Rs 48,999
Bambu Lab has made its debut in India with the launch of the A2L 3D printer. This open-bed desktop model boasts increased build volume, providing users the ability to create larger projects.

The Bambu Lab A2L: The standard model is priced at Rs 48,999
"India has emerged as one of the most exciting markets for innovation, creativity and digital manufacturing. Over the past two years, we've seen strong organic adoption of our products through our channel partners, giving us confidence in the potential of this market," said Leo Wang, Country Head, Bambu Lab.
The A2L is aimed at users looking to move beyond standard desktop 3D printers without stepping up to significantly more expensive industrial systems. It features a build volume of 330 x 320 x 325 mm, offering more than double the printable space of the company's 256 mm-class desktop printers. The larger print area allows users to produce bigger objects, batch-print multiple components or reduce the need to split large models into separate parts.
To improve print quality at larger scales, the printer incorporates adaptive vibration compensation that recalibrates performance based on toolhead movement and print-bed load. It also includes built-in dampers designed to minimise vibration during high-speed printing, along with a closed-loop servo extruder that monitors filament flow to detect feeding issues before they affect print quality.
The A2L also includes features such as nozzle clog detection, filament run-out monitoring and tangled spool detection. According to the company, the printer operates below 49 dB in Silent Mode, making it suitable for home, classroom and studio environments.
Like the rest of Bambu Lab's portfolio, the A2L is integrated with the company's software ecosystem, including Bambu Studio for slicing, the MakerWorld repository for printable models and the Bambu Handy mobile app for remote monitoring. RFID-enabled filaments can automatically configure print settings when used with compatible materials.
The Bambu Lab A2L is now available in India through the company's authorised channel partners. The standard model is priced at Rs 48,999, while the A2L Combo, which includes the Automatic Material System, is priced at Rs 65,999.
