Babil to follow in father Irrfan Khan's footsteps, will 'look into' acting offers post graduation
The aspiring actor engaged in an interaction with Irrfan Khan's fans on Instagram.

In an Instagram post captioned, 'Up for lending', the aspiring actor shared a cover of book 'Actors on Acting', edited by Toby Cole and Helen Krich Chinoy, The book cover was a signed copy by the late actor, which read "Irrfan, in New York for 'The Namesake'". Khan Sr had purchased this book when he was preparing for his lead role in the 2006 Mira Nair-directorial, according to Babil.
Replying to curious fans, Babil - who is in his early 20s and studying film-making in London - said that he will look into acting offers after he completes his graduation in May.
"I am already in the field of acting, when I will appear in a film is the question," his reply read.
In a reply to another fan, Babil said that he plan to explore Indian cinema.

Last year, Babil Khan had opened up about how his father constantly tried to challenge the existing ecosystem in the Hindi film industry, but was defeated at the box office by hunks with six pack abs delivering formulaic dialogues.
"My father gave his life trying to elevate the art of acting in the adverse conditions of noughties Bollywood and alas, for almost all of his journey, was defeated in the box office by hunks with six pack abs delivering theatrical one-liners and defying the laws of physics and reality," he wrote in a long Instagram post in July.
Irrfan Khan passed away in April at the age of 54 following his battle with a rare form of cancer.
