B-town mourns Tom Alter's death, offer condolences to family
MUMBAI: Bollywood celebrities Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Nimrat Kaur paid tributes to veteran theatre, film and television actor Tom Alter, who passed away at the age of 67.

Alter, who had been battling stage four skin cancer, died last night at his residence here.

Rishi tweeted, "RIP. My friend and colleague Tom Alter. Bless you!"


Anil remembered Alter as an all rounder and a person with a heart of gold.

"An all rounder is what he was, with a heart of gold. Back in the day, I even studied acting under him. You will be missed dearly #TomAlter."

"RIP Tom Alter... Have the fondest childhood memories of seeing him on Zabaan Sambhal ke...," Arjun tweeted.


Nimrat wrote, "Waking up to some tragic news about the passing away of Mr Tom Alter. A one of a kind, grace personified, thorough gentleman. #RIPTomAlter."

Athiya Shetty said Alter's wife Carol taught her English and she had a great time knowing the veteran actor.
