Asif Ali's Rekhachithram OTT release date out: When and where to watch the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025

Rekhachithram is a 2025 Malayalam-language mystery crime thriller directed by Jofin T. Chacko. Featuring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in lead roles, the film premiered in theatres on January 9 and quickly became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year. Despite being made on a modest budget, it received widespread critical acclaim. Fans have eagerly awaited its digital release, and the wait is finally over.

As per reports from 123Telugu, Rekhachithram is set to premiere on SonyLIV on March 14. The film, written by John Manthrikal and based on a story by Ramu Sunil, was jointly produced by Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media. Alongside Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan, the movie features an ensemble cast including Mammootty, Manoj K. Jayan, Siddique, Jagadish, Saikumar, Harisree Ashokan, and Indrans.

About Rekhachithram

Set in the picturesque town of Malakkappara, the film follows Vivek, who assumes the role of Station House Officer (SHO) and takes charge of a puzzling suicide case involving a man named Rajendran. Before his death, Rajendran confessed to a crime he committed years ago, leading Vivek to an unsolved mystery—the disappearance of a young girl from the filming location of Bharathan’s 1985 movie Kathodu Kathoram.
