Ashok Selvan joins Prakash Raj and Sriya Reddy in Priyan's film

We had reported that director Priyadarshan's upcoming film on AIDS awareness will have three main characters and his Kanchivaram stars Prakash Raj and Sriya Reddy have been cast for two of these roles.

Now, we hear that Thegidi actor Ashok Selvan has been cast in the third role. A source in the team confirmed, "We needed a young actor for this role, and after considering a few names, we zeroed in on Ashok Selvan. The shoot of the film is set to begin in August."

While there has been a rumour that AR Rahman would be doing the music for the film, the makers have clarified that the Isai Puyal is not part of the project and that they are yet to finalize the composer for the film.
