In the wedding glimpses, Samantha looked stunning in a red silk saree paired up with heavy gold jewellery, but the accessory that caught everyone’s eye was her ring. On her left hand, she sported a long, diamond-shaped statement ring. Though the details haven’t been officially confirmed, it seems to be a silver-and-diamond design with fine filigree work.

As reported by TOI and News18, a viral statement by Surat-based jewellery designer Dhrumit Merulia suggested that Samantha had her engagement ring redesigned into a necklace. He even posted a video on Instagram breaking down how the transformation was done and added that she now wears the pendant quite often.

In his caption, Merulia pointed out that Samantha is not alone in doing this. He wrote that repurposing engagement rings after divorce has become increasingly common, and that many people now even choose to buy "divorce rings" as a way of marking a fresh start in life.

However, the actress didn't confirm or address this claim, but the resemblance between the pendant and the ring had led to this.
