Article 370: Veena Malik trolled for disrespecting Indian Army; Mahira Khan says heaven is burning

NEW DELHI: Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who is known for sharing inflammatory opinions on Indo-Pakistan tension, wasn't pleased with the decision on Article 370. After the Centre scrapped on Monday the clause Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir that accorded it a special status, the 35-year-old actress questioned India's decision to revoke the same.


Malik, who has made a name for herself in India after being a part of several Indian television shows, accused politicians of taking an advantage of the situation without raising a voice for the people of Kashmir.



On Sunday, the 'Bigg Boss 4' contestant shared a distasteful picture on Twitter, demeaning the Indian Army. Her tweet read, "To The Indian Brutality In Kashmir #IndianarmyinKashmir #indianArmy".


Her recent antic that drew over 5200 comments didn't go down well with her followers. From sarcasm to anger, Twitterati ensured they shame the actress with their tweets. While some tried to drill sense into her, others accused her of being an selfish opportunist.





Meanwhile Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who romanced Shah Rukh Khan in 2017 movie 'Raees', also critiqued the move. Terming it a matter 'beyond lines drawn on sand', she went on to write that "Heaven is burning and we silently weep."
