Arrest warrant issued for rapper Joe Budden

LOS ANGELES: Rapper Joe Budden is a wanted man after a judge in New York City issued a warrant for his arrest following a missed court date.

The hip-hop star was due to appear in court in the Big Apple for a hearing as part of a case stemming from an alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend, but Budden, 34, failed to show up, according to TMZ.

The judge overseeing the case issued a warrant for his arrest.

The incident comes just months after a judge previously chastised the star for turning up late for a hearing in December last year.
