Arjun & Anshula have made us more secure.’ Janhvi Kapoor says she is blessed to have gained two siblings in later stage of life

As we all know that Janhvi Kapoor comes from an illustrious film family and has Sonam, Rhea and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor as her cousins. However, it is her relationship with her half-brother Arjun Kapoor and half sister, Anshula Kapoor that has often grabbed tabloid headlines.

Talking about her equation with Arjun and Anshula, Janhvi in a recent interview to Filmfare said, “I think having Arjun Bhaiya and Anshula Didi as a part of our lives has made us more secure and stronger individuals…For the lack of a better word, I feel more wholesome.”

The actress added that she feels lucky that she got two siblings in her life at a later stage. “I don’t know who else can say that and I think that I’m extremely lucky and it doesn’t get better than that,” the ‘Dhadak’ actress added.


A quick jog down memory lane would tell you that Janhvi’s late mother, Sridevi had a relationship with her father Boney Kapoor when he was already married to Mona Shourie Kapoor.

Mona and Boney Kapoor were also parents of two kids – Arjun and Anshula– when the producer fell in love with Sridevi. However, it was Jahnvi’s arrival into this world that finally pushed Boney Kapoor to walk out of his first marriage and tie the knot with Sridevi.

As years went by, the half-siblings weren’t particularly close to one another during their growing up years. However, Arjun and Anshula came and stood by Janhvi and her sister Khushi when they lost their mother. The four kids of Boney Kapoor are now very close, and they not only have a family group with their dad, but they also hang out together very often.
