Savitribai Jyotirao Phule, social reformer and wife of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, is known for her contribution to women’s rights in India during the British era. She set up schools for people deprived of education due to caste discrimination and for women as well.

With the Storia app, Phule would no longer have to lug around a bag of books to teach her students. The app also has books embedded with questions, learning activities and pop-up dictionaries.

Convincing people to educate themselves, we bet, would not have been an issue at all with something as exciting as this on her android.
