KOLKATA: Apple has announced the India launch of its two new iPhone models, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Accordingly, the new iPhones will be launched in India on October 7 while the global launch is on September 16.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available in silver, gold, rose gold and the new black finish in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB models starting at Rs 60,000 and the new jet black finish will be offered exclusively on the 128GB and 256GB models from Apple authorised resellers.

The company continues with its premium pricing in India with the unlocked version cheaper by about Rs 12,000.

However, the company has not yet announced the new price of its older iPhone models in the country, which industry executives said will also see a price cut.
