Putting all speculations to rest, Apple has finally unveiled the iPhone 15 & iPhone 15 Plus at the 'Wonderlust' event on Tuesday.

While pricing is always a crucial detail, equally exciting are the remarkable features and specifications that accompany this smartphone line-up.

Apple traditionally offers multiple storage options, and the starting price may vary depending on the configuration.


The base model pricing for the iPhone 15 starts at $799 (Rs. 79,900), making it competitive in the high-end smartphone market. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Plus starts at $899 (Rs. 89,900). Both smartphones will be offered in a range of colors, including Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow. Customers can choose storage options of up to 512GB to meet their needs.

Specs

The iPhone 15, a dual SIM (Nano) device, boasts a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display featuring Ceramic Shield material for added durability.

Apple has incorporated Dynamic Island technology, previously seen in the iPhone 14 Pro models, enhancing the user experience.

The display is capable of reaching peak brightness levels of up to 2000 nits, and the device carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Plus boasts a larger 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.

Unlike its predecessor, the iPhone 15 series sports a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 2um quad-pixel sensor and an f/1.6 aperture as its primary shooter. Additionally, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/1.6 aperture and sensor shift stabilization is included.

For selfies and video calls, a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera is housed in the new Dynamic Island.
