Apple TV 4K (2022) with HDR 10+, A15 Bionic Chip, launched in India; price starts at Rs 14,900

The Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple, has unveiled its premium tv console Apple TV 4K (2022) in India. The new device comes at a starting price of Rs 14,900. The latest device from Apple comes with the latest tvOS platform and claims to have better performance and specifications.

The all-new Apple TV 4K also comes with HDR10+ for dynamic range content along with Dolby Vision and HDR10. The earlier version of the device only supported Dolby Vision and HDR10.

Indian consumers can own the 64GB Apple TV 4K (2022) with WiFi connectivity at Rs 14,900. The 128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,900. The Apple TV 4K can be ordered via Apple’s official online store in India. The devices are expected to be shipped on November 4. Consumers can avail of the Apple Care+ along with the Apple TV 4K (2022) for Rs 2,900 and Apple is also offering three-month free access to the Apple TV+ streaming service.


Apple TV 4K (2022) Specifications
Users can stream content across various platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar, and Amazon Prime Video. They can also play Apple Arcade games on the new Apple TV 4K (2022). The new Apple TV 4K 2022 edition has a similar design as the previous generation device. The new model is accompanied by the popular Siri remote which offers access to voice commands and can be used for navigation on the tvOS 16 interface.

The affordable variant comes with only WiFi connectivity, while the higher variant comes with access to a wired Ethernet connection. The new device is also powered by the A15 Bionic chip which is seen on iPhone 13 series, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

The device comes with support Ultra-HD streaming from supported streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ Hotstar.
