Reports suggest that the iPhone 13 lineup may mirror the iPhone 12 family of phones
Apple is reportedly planning to launch the upcoming iPhone 13 on September 14 at a tech event which will be held virtually. The Cupertino-based tech giant will be launching new models of iPhone 13 such as iPhone13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 13 Mini.

The reports further suggest that the pre-orders for the new iPhone 13 series will go live on September 17. The sales for the same will begin from September 24, according to FrontPageTech report which quoted a source as saying.

There are a lot of speculations regarding the new iPhone 13 series. Reports suggest that the iPhone 13 lineup may mirror the iPhone 12 family of phones which throws up size equation for the upcoming models at: 5.4-inch iPhone 13 Mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The iPhone 13 Pro models may feature Wi-Fi 6E, which provides Wi-Fi 6 features and capabilities, including higher performance, lower latency and faster data rates. The Cupertino-based tech firm also plans to bring sensor-shift optical image stabilisation to the new iPhone 13 series.

The upcoming iPhone line-up will also most likely support 25W fast-generation technology. The current generation of iPhones, as well as USB C power adapter, only support 20W of fast charging.

While Apple fans wait for the new line-up to drop soon, it won't be cheap on the pocket. If recent reports are to be believed, the tech firm will be hiking the price of the upcoming iPhones in the line-up due to sudden rise in chip production costs.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is planning to increase the costs of its chip production which will then impact several of its customers, including Apple, as per a report in the DigiTimes.

Due to this, Apple may try to sell its highly anticipated iPhone 13 series at a higher price tag to minimise the impact on profitability. The report suggests that tech giant is expected to hike the new iPhone 13 by 3-5 per cent.
