Apple Special Event: Content-streaming service likely; here's how to watch it live
The California-based tech major is set to take on Netflix and Amazon Prime

Earlier this month, Apple had sent out invitations to the media for today's event that will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Cupertino campus.
The invitation said - 'It's show time.' - and did not mention any specific agenda for the event.
The video service may include subscriptions from Viacom Inc, Lions Gate Entertainment Corp's Starz and CBS Corp, and Apple's original content. It plans to create 25 original shows ranging from dramas, comedies, docu-series and kids' programming, and big names doing the rounds include Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, and directors like J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg are on board.
Tech experts expect that the company will push out updates for Apple TV devices and iPads later this month, but today's event won't focus on hardware-related announcements.
