Apple has officially expanded its Mac lineup with the launch of the MacBook Neo, and at $599, this is easily one of the company’s most aggressive pricing moves in years.

Positioned as a new entry point into the Mac ecosystem, the MacBook Neo brings premium design and modern performance to a much more accessible price bracket.

The MacBook Neo features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, delivering the sharpness and color accuracy Apple users have come to expect. Powering the device is the A18 Pro chip, previously seen in the iPhone lineup. This marks a strategic shift, bringing highly efficient, AI-ready mobile silicon into a Mac form factor. The result is a machine focused on everyday productivity, media consumption, and on-device intelligence.
