Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max may see a big design change. Here is what we know so far
Apple’s iPhone 17 series, expected in 2025, is rumored to feature a significant design change, including a horizontal camera bump for the iPhone 17 Air and a large horizontal matrix design for Pro models. Leaks from Weibo and Jon Prosser suggest n...

In addition, leaker Jon Prosser recently shared renders of the iPhone 17 Pro, revealing a triangular camera arrangement similar to what is seen on current iPhone Pro models. However, according to the renders, this camera setup will be enclosed within a new rectangular bar that spans the device’s back.
This isn't the only major change. Previous leaks have hinted at a similar design overhaul, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro Max variants. Some reports suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could feature a smaller Dynamic Island, which is made possible by metalens technology and allows for more compact Face ID components. Apple introduced the Dynamic Island with the iPhone 14 Pro models, replacing the notch, and it has been a key feature of Pro variants ever since.
To make things more interesting, the Weibo leak also mentions that Apple is working on a large foldable iPhone, a rumor that has been circulating for quite some time. Unfortunately, there are no additional details available about the foldable device at this stage.
While these rumors have a runway to come true for up to 6 months, Apple is gearing up for a launch tomorrow - 19th February.
