Apple breaks tradition, tweets for 3.1 million fans with details about September event

Apple may launch two premium iPhone 11 models this year.

The internal names given to the devices are D42 that would replace iPhone XS, and D43 to replace iPhone XS Max. The experts believe the devices will be called iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. These devices will support a stylus - Apple Pencil.

The new devices may sport an OLED display that's used in Samsung's Galaxy S10 and Note 10.

The move is likely to assist Samsung Display in a number of ways, including reducing the list of suppliers it uses to acquire materials, and buying more from a smaller supplier pool.

Apple is expected to launch iPhone XR successor next week along with its premium iPhones. The internal name name given to the device is N104.

According to rumours, the device is likely to get a 3,110mAh battery (bigger than last year's 2,942mAh battery).

2018 was the year of all new iPad Pro during Apple's October Event.

The iPad line-up can use a specification bump. Rumours suggest that the new iPad may have a 10.2-inch screen, and the iPad Pro might come with a camera system as good as iPhone 11's.

Get ready for a smart, OLED screen on Apple Watch Series 5.

The Watch 5 is rumoured to come with sleep tracking, a larger battery and many other health features.

The device may come in 2 versions - 40mm and 44mm with animations for the initial setup process. However, the 2020 version of the smartwatch is expected to come with a MicroLED display.

Moreover, the smartwatch is expected to come in titanium and ceramic variants or cases.

The company may reveal the dates for release of new OS updates (iOS 13, iPadOS 13, tvOS 13, watchOS 6, macOS Catalina). Smart speaker HomePod may also get a software update and get features such as music and radio streaming, and multi-user support.
