Apple acknowledges 1-year-old bug in iTunes

Recently, a designer named James Pinkstone wrote a blog post stating that Apple Music and iTunes bug deleted his 122GB of locally saved music library. Several other users too over the last several months have made similar complaints on Apple discussion forums.

Apple finally acknowledged the issue in a statement to iMore website this week.

The Cupertino-based tech firm said that "in an extremely small number of cases, users have reported that music files saved on their computer were removed without their permission."

The company said that it is trying to identify the cause and working on a patch to fix the glitch.
